आघाडा (Achyranthes aspera)
आपल्या पूर्वजांनी खूप विचार करून ह्या वनस्पतीचा अभ्यास केला आहे. त्यांच्या गुणधर्मामुळे आपल्या रोजच्या जीवनात त्याचा उपयोग करून घेतो. ह्या संशोधक प्रवृत्तीमुळे त्यांचे जीवन सुखी झाले. आनंदी झाले.आपल्या धार्मिक प्रवृत्तीमुळे त्यांनी त्यांचा समावेश होतो आहे.
श्रावण महिन्यात देवतांच्या पूजनात आघाड्याला खूप महत्त्वाचे स्थान आहे. आपल्या धार्मिक विचार-आचारामध्ये ह्या वनस्पतींना प्राधान्य देण्यात आले आहे. आघाडा हा दंतरोगावर खूप गुणकारी औषध आहे. आघाडीच्या काडीचा दंत धावणामुळे दाताचे सर्वं विकार नाहीसे होतात. दात खूप घट्ट होतात व दातावर खूप चमक येते. दात सुंदर दिसू लागतात.
आघाड्याचे गुणधर्म:कडू, उष्ण, ग्राहक, सारक, किंचीत तिखट, कांतिकरक, पाचक,व अग्निदीपक आहे. कफ,उदर, अर्श, रक्तदोष, मेह,वातरोग,शिबे,अपचन, वांती,आणि घाम,यांचा नाश करतो.आघाडा ह्या वनस्पतीचे खूप मोठा फायदा होईल.
खोकला व कफ:-तोंड आतून कफाने सारवल्यासारखे होते. मस्तकात वेदना,अन्नावर अरुची,रोगी वारंवार खोकतो,कफ पडतो,छातीत वेदना,डोकं ,हृदयात दुःख,केव्हा केव्हा तोंडात कोरड पडते,अश्यावेळी उंदराच्या विष्यावर:-उंदीर चावला तर बऱ्याच दिवसांनी अंगावर गाठी येण्यास सुरुवात होते, ज्वर येतो,अश्यावेळी आघाड्याची कोवळी पांढरे तुरे बारीक वाटावे,व त्यामध्ये मध मिसळून घ्यावा, अगर आघाड्याची बी बारीक कुटून त्यामध्ये मध मिसळून घ्यावा. झाडे मुळासकट उपटून आणावीत व त्यांची राख वयोमानानुसार 1-4 गुंजा अधिक रेशमाची राख 1-2 गुंजा एकत्र मिसळून व त्यामध्ये 1 चमचा मध घालून सकाळी व संध्याकाळी घ्यावी. म्हणजे कफ पातळ होतो.व खोकला कमी होतो .माणसाला आराम मिळतो.
सूज:-अनेक वेळा बाईंच्या, पुरुषांच्या, मुलांच्यासुद्धा हातापायाना सूज येते, वारंवार सुजेस खाज सुटते, थोडी विश्रांती घेतली असता कमी पडते,व जरा काम पडले असता की पुन्हा सूज येते, अशा वेळी 2-4 गुंजा आघाड्याची राख व त्यामध्ये गोमूत्र 1 तोळा मिसळावे व ते मिश्रण पोटात घेत जावे रोज नियमित सेवन केल्यास सुज कमी होते व मनुष्य बरा होतो.
उंदराच्या विष्यावर:-उंदीर चावला तर बऱ्याच दिवसांनी अंगावर गाठी येण्यास सुरुवात होते, ज्वर येतो,अश्यावेळी आघाड्याची कोवळी पांढरे तुरे बारीक वाटावे,व त्यामध्ये मध मिसळून घ्यावा, अगर आघाड्याची बी बारीक कुटून त्यामध्ये मध मिसळून घ्यावा.
